  1. WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS

This Privacy Policy describes how VoxFox collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our websites at voxfox.us or app.voxfox.us, sign up for or use the VoxFox AI virtual receptionist service, call a phone number answered by the VoxFox AI on behalf of a contractor who uses our Service, or receive SMS text messages from VoxFox or from a contractor sending messages through the Service.

If you are a homeowner or end-customer who called a contractor and reached the VoxFox AI, the contractor is the controller of your information for purposes of the call; VoxFox processes that information as a service provider on the contractor's behalf.

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

3.1 Information You Provide Directly. Account information when contractors sign up: name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, payment information (handled by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers). Service configuration that contractors enter: business hours, service area, technician names, greeting copy, emergency keywords.

3.2 Information Collected During Calls. When a homeowner calls a contractor whose phone line is answered by VoxFox, the AI may collect the caller's phone number (provided by the carrier as caller ID); the caller's spoken name, address, email, and description of their issue (only what the caller chooses to share); a recording and transcript of the call (subject to applicable consent disclosure at the start of the call); and the date, time, and duration of the call.

3.3 Information Collected Automatically When You Use the Website. Standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamp), cookies and similar technologies for session management and basic analytics.

3.4 SMS-Specific Information. When you opt in to receive SMS messages from VoxFox or from a contractor through the Service, we collect your mobile phone number; your opt-in consent status (timestamp, opt-in source, language shown to you at opt-in); message delivery metadata (sent, delivered, failed, replied); and your responses to STOP, HELP, and other keywords.

  1. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information described above to provide, operate, and improve the Service (answering calls, booking appointments, sending confirmations); process payments and manage subscriptions; send transactional SMS and email messages (booking confirmations, appointment reminders, technician dispatch notifications, account updates); respond to support requests and communicate with contractors about their account; comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use; and detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
